Do I need to pay any foreclosure charges on my loan?

You can foreclose your consumer durable loan without paying any extra charges. However, you can initiate a loan foreclosure only after your first EMI is paid.

You can follow these steps to foreclose your consumer durable loan

  • Click on the ‘Foreclose your loan’ option below to visit our customer portal- My Account.
  • Enter your mobile number, and date of birth, and submit the OTP to sign-in.
  • Choose ‘Foreclosure’ from the list of payment options.
  • Select the loan account you wish to foreclose.
  • Enter the required details and proceed with payment using our secured payment getaway.

What should I do if I am unable to foreclose a loan online as my bank account details are not available to make online payments?

In such a case, you can visit our nearest branch and make payment in cash or cheque to foreclose your loan account.

What should I do if I am unable to part-prepay my loan?

With our consumer durable loan, you do not have a part-prepayment option. Therefore, you are not able to part-prepay your loan. However, if you have surplus funds, you can pay an EMI in advance or foreclose your loan by visiting our customer portal – My Account.

How can I reduce my consumer durable loan EMI or repayment tenure?

When you opt for our consumer durable loan, you do not have the option to make part-prepayment and therefore you cannot reduce your EMI or repayment tenure.

However, if you have surplus funds, you can foreclose your loan account by repaying your outstanding loan amount in one go.

What is a convenience fee? Do I need to pay a convenience fee for all my loans?

The convenience fee is an additional fee you need to pay to convert your purchase into EMIs at the point of sale. This fee is applicable to all your consumer durable loan(s) availed using your Insta EMI Card. This amount will be part of your first consumer durable loan’s EMIs and you do not need to pay this fee to your dealer or merchant.
