What documents are required for a public/ private limited company to invest in a fixed deposit?

To invest in a Bajaj Finance Fixed Deposit, a public/ private limited company needs to submit the following documents:

  1. Certificate of incorporation/registration and Memorandum & Articles of Association
  2. Board resolution permitting investment, opening a deposit and claiming the maturity proceeds
  3. PAN
  4. Latest telephone/ electricity bill or bank account statement
  5. Cancelled cheque
  6. One recent Photograph, PAN or Form 60, and any one valid OVD (PAN, passport, driving license, Voter's identity card) of the authorised signatory(ies). In case such person is a director, then Directors Identification no. is mandatory on application form
  7. BO declaration (part of application form) and KYC of BO as per above point
  8. Names of the relevant persons holding senior management position, on company’s letterhead:
    1. CEO or MD or Manager
    2. Company secretary
    3. Executive/ Whole-Time Director
    4. CFO
    5. Any other persons as approved by the Board as Key Management Personnel
  9. Address proof of registered office and the principal place of its business, if it is different.
What documents are required for a partnership firm to invest in a fixed deposit?

A partnership firm can invest in an FD by submitting the following documents:

  1. Registration Certificate
  2. PAN
  3. Partnership Deed
  4. One recent Photograph, PAN or Form 60, and any one valid OVD (PAN, passport, driving license, Voter's identity card) of the authorised signatory(ies)
  5. BO declaration (part of application form) and KYC of BO as per above point
  6. Names of all partners on entity’s letterhead, signed by authorised signatory(ies)
  7. Address proof of the registered office, and the principal place of its business, if it is different.

A HUF can invest in an FD by submitting the following documents:
